During the past year, AASuccess was privileged to have had several alumni return to the organization to help our younger students in the Life Skills Academy training programs. The alumni themselves graduated from our training programs to become civic-minded young professionals. As we begin our fiscal year 2013-2014, the team asked each of their supporter to think about how you can help those underserved minority students from middle school to college in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.

On October 2013, AASuccess Sustaining Member Program (SMP) was organizing a fundraising event to help raise money to expand their programs and offerings to the community. Their students are expected to translate their interests and work on behalf of the organization to build a foundation for an ongoing commitment to community engagement. This was an engaging evening of networking, art exhibits and silent auction, select wines and hors d’oeuvres, live music and cultural performances. Our team was invited to capture the essence of the event.
